When youth creativity meets professional stage, a creative feast of advertising art begins in Jingchu.From June 20 to 23, 2025, the 17th National Undergraduate Advertising Arts Competition (hereinafter referred to as the "Grand Canton Competition") was held in Wuhan Textile University.50 evaluation experts from domestic academic circles, front-line elites in the advertising industry, municipal regulatory authorities, etc. formed 10 professional evaluation teams to conduct professional and rigorous selection of 8715 entries from 90 colleges and universities in Hubei Province.The event was hosted by the Hubei Organizing Committee of the Universiade, the School of Journalism and Communication of Wuhan University, undertaken by the School of Media of Wuhan Textile University, and supported by Zhejiang Hengdian Film and Television City Co., Ltd. Yao Xi, the director of the judging committee of Hubei competition area of the Universiade and professor of the School of Journalism and Communication of Wuhan University, presided over the event.

At the scene of the final review meeting of the Hubei competition area of the CGS, the leaders of the review teams for print, video, television and advertising, video, micro TV advertising, short video, animation, interaction, broadcasting, planning, copywriting+broadcasting, and UI+AI technology delivered speeches in turn to summarize the gains and losses of this review.The leaders of each review team said that the submitted works adhere to the mainstream values, show the positive spirit of college students, the overall level is generally improved, innovative, in-depth exploration of the brand core, comprehensive technology, solid foundation, especially the excellent works of animation and radio, which brought surprises to the judges.The award-winning works have both cultural and artistic attributes and life atmosphere. They organically combine excellent Chinese traditional culture with artificial intelligence, reflect the theme of "youth+creativity", and have distinctive characteristics of the times, reflecting the social responsibility of young people.There are some shortcomings, such as similarity in originality, single storytelling method, lack of deep insight, deviation from the theme, reality, logic, exposure of school information, overtime work duration, subtitle errors and other normative problems.
